Bad Bunny stole the show with his Super Bowl 60 Halftime performance on Sunday Night (February 8). The mega star had several guests join him as well. Including Ricky Martin and Lady Gaga.
Drake Allegedly Declined Bad Bunny Super Bowl Invite
However, even as star-studded as his performance was, it could have been even bigger. According to one source, Bad Bunny also invited Drake to join him on stage at the Super Bowl. But the artist declined the offer because he did not want to steal the spotlight from Bad Bunny. In addition, he didn’t want the narrative to shift to him getting “revenge’ on Kendrick Lamar for his Super Bowl 59 Halftime Show performance.
“He said no because he wants everyone to focus on his brother Benito,” the source told The US Sun (via ATP_Rap/X). “He wants Bad Bunny to enjoy the moment, to do his thing, and to not have his moment surrounded by noise about any kind of revenge on Kendrick.”

However, some fans on social media did not appear to buy the source’s claims.
“But, if this was true, he wouldn’t take Bad Bunny’s spotlight regardless,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Other fans agreed and applauded the rap star’s humility.
“Drake is an incredible human, he knows the impact he’d have, and then Bad Bunny wouldn’t even feel the same on stage cause we all know Drake is bigger,” a second user added.
It ended up being a historic night for Bad Bunny. His Halftime performance at Super Bowl 60 grossed over 135 million viewers. Making it the most-watched Halftime Performance in the history of the event. Not bad after many people claimed they wouldn’t watch.
Who do you think should perform the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2027?
