Drake continues to enter rare air.

On Wednesday, the RIAA awarded diamond certifications to two of his fan-favorite tracks: 2009’s “Best I Ever Had” and 2013’s “Hold On, We’re Going Home.” With these latest additions, Drizzy now holds a record-breaking 10 Diamond certifications, the most of any artist in RIAA history.
That’s right — the 6 God just set the bar higher than ever.
His newly expanded diamond collection already boasts cultural staples like “God’s Plan,” “One Dance,” “Hotline Bling,” Travis Scott’s “SICKO MODE,” “Life Is Good” with Future, Lil Wayne’s “Love Me,” and Chris Brown’s “No Guidance.”
With this latest milestone, Drake surpasses both Garth Brooks — who holds nine Diamond albums — and Post Malone, who’s earned nine Diamond singles. Unlike them, Drake now stands alone as the first artist to crack double digits across both singles and albums.
He may not be done, either.
“Nice for What” is currently sitting at 9x Platinum, putting an 11th Diamond plaque well within reach.
This record-breaking news comes at a perfect time for Drake, who’s already gearing up for a blockbuster summer. He’s set to headline all three nights of London’s Wireless Festival (July 11–13) in Finsbury Park. And that’s not all.
Last weekend, during a surprise appearance at Central Cee’s show in Toronto, Drake gave fans something extra to cheer about. From a balcony above the crowd, he casually dropped a bombshell: “I’ll see you this summer, by the way,” he said, as the venue erupted. “OVO Fest will be back this year.”
