After months of anticipation, the release date for Drake’s forthcoming album, Iceman, has been revealed, and Drake did it in a way that he can.
On Monday (April 20), Drake revealed that the release date of his new project was hidden inside a large ice sculpture that appeared in Downtown Toronto over the weekend. And after almost 12 hours of trying to melt and break the ice, one lucky streamer, Kiska, found a mystery bag hidden inside one of the blocks of the sculpture.

After the bag was found, Kishka was instructed to go to Drake’s house, The Embassy, and open the bag, which contained a piece of paper that revealed the album’s release date — May 15.
Kishka was also gifted a bag of money for his efforts.

Now that the album’s release date has been officially announced, the next big reveal will be what is released once the sculpture has completely melted. Which could take days or even weeks.
Some have speculated about what is contained at the bottom of the sculpture. With many thinking that it could be an album cover or perhaps the tracklist and/or features.
One thing that can’t be denied is that Drizzy has already overdelivered with the rollout of this project. He’s had the industry eating out of the palm of his hand since he dropped the first single off the project, What Did I Miss? last July.
Ironically, that song is the last track to chart on the Billboard Hot 200. Like it or not, Drake is proving that the rap industry needs him at his best. It will be interesting to see if he can deliver another classic.
