Drake Shows More Support For Tory Lanez
Drizzy took to social media on Sunday (August 24) to double down on his support for his fellow countryman.
An interview with Lanez and journalist Rob Markman recently resurfaced. In that clip, Lanez is reciting the lyrics to Lil’ Wayne’s verse on the Cannon Remix. In the clip, Lanez quizzes Markman about the famed Weezy verse, imploring him to finish the verse that he is reciting. But Markman gets stumped on the lyrics. So of course, Drizzy took to the comments section of the post to call out Markman.
“Of course, this goof Markman couldn’t finish the bar. FREE Tory,” he wrote in the comments section.
It wasn’t long before Markman responded to the OVO boss.

Despite being convicted of shooting Meg Thee Stallion, Tory has maintained his innocence. And he ramped up his bid to be released from prison earlier this year after being stabbed by a fellow inmate.
As part of his bid to be released from prison, Lanez’s legal team revealed that Bradley James, the bodyguard of Megan’s former best friend, Kelsey Harris, revealed that it was Kelsey who shot Megan and not Tory.
However, Megan has since chimed in, stating that Lanez is once again lying.
“So one minute he/ yall said I was never shot. So now y’all are letting him play in y’all’s face AGAIN and say I was shot but it wasn’t him, oh okay…?! I’m sick of this sh-t LEAVE ME TF ALONE!!!!”
