Drake continues to rollout his new album Iceman, with the release marketing becoming more and more elaborate. On Tuesday (April 21st) it appears a streamer has found out when the album will drop.
When Is Drake ‘Iceman’ Album Coming Out?
On Monday (April 20th), Drake dropped an ice sculpture in Toronto, Canada, posting that the release date would be revealed when the prop melts. However, ravenous fans sped up the process, rushing the location with blow torches, icepicks, and other tools to extract the information faster.
Amid the chaos, Twitch streamer Kishka discovered the date inside a blue bag buried deep inside the ice sculpture. He then took the materials in the bag to outside of Drake’s Mansion, at the behest of OVO affiliate Smiley. Kishka was told a reward would be waiting for him outside the mansion.
First, he revealed a poster with Iceman, May 15th, written in blue and red. Then, he flipped through a book that contained a picture of a white t shirt that stated “This is my year 2026,” but originally read 2024. The 2024 was crossed out with 2026. 2024 happens to be the year Drake and Kendrick Lamar got into their infamous beef.
Then, a stenciled figure sat on the next page, followed by a blurry selfie of Drake himself. A member of Drake’s team then came outside and rewarded the streamer with a bag of cash.
While Drake himself hasn’t confirmed the date of Iceman, it appears this is the most concrete idea of when it’ll come out.

How Did Fans React To Iceman’s Release Date?
The majority of fans on X were impressed with Drake’s extended rollout.
“Drake could’ve easily live streamed all of this and monetized it himself. Instead, he’s letting the fans participate and create content from the roll out,” One user posted. “This is a master class in promo, it’s as much marketing as it is performance art.”
“I have loved the ICEMAN rollout thus far,” Another user posted. “The live episodes and the ice structure with the release date inside is some of the most creative stuff I’ve seen And the album is still 4 weeks out, I bet more promo is yet to come. Cover art, tracklist, let’s see.”
Drake’s Iceman will be the first album by the chart topper since 2023’s For All The Dogs.
