Drake has officially entered GOAT territory.
After Drizzy dropped a trifecta of new albums on May 15, the numbers are in. And he has collected yet another record.
His hit record from his Iceman album, Janice STFU, took the top spot in this week’s Billboard Hot 100. This is significant because it officially gives him the most number one hits by a male solo artist. A record previously held by pop icon Michael Jackson (Via Kurrco/X).
Drake Reacts to Passing Michael Jackson’s Record
After officially surpassing Jackson for the record, Drake took to social media. And posted a picture of the late pop star, sporting icy blue colored corn rows. And reacted to having the most number one records in Billboard history.
“Neck broke from carrying the chain, Back broke from carrying the game. Records broken carry on my name, Carry on carry on,” he wrote on social media, as caught by Kurrco on X.

Of course, fans on social media had a lot to say after Drake claimed the record.
“Pretty wild how two years ago n***as were singing and dancing to a song calling him a pedo. Now he’s back running the charts like he never left,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“For Drake to pass a record tied to Michael Jackson? That’s genuinely historic and deserves respect,” a second user chimed in.
“Drake is the greatest; he made history. Nobody cares about the haters and their opinions. Carry on, legend,” a third user remarked.
Drake made even more history on the Billboard charts. After dropping a trifecta of new projects, Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour occupy the top three spots on the Billboard Hot 200. Making Drake the first artist to ever simultaneously debut three albums in the top three spots on the Billboard Hot 200.
Drake also tied Taylor Swift for the most number-one albums by a solo artist in Billboard 200 history.
