Drake Keeps His Promise And Doesn’t Submit To The Grammys

Love it or hate it, Drake has had a prolific year. His triple album dominated the charts and he shacked up with a goth streamer and snatched Lena The Plug from Adam22.

Jokes aside, Drake has clearly been one of the most dominant forces in music but on Iceman, he gave his word he would play nice with the industry.

Multiple sources have confirmed that Drizzy is not submitting his albums for Grammy nominations.

This mirrors his previous declaration on “Make Them Know,” where he asserted he would not deal with the controversial award show.

“This album, I’m never submittin’ it/’Cause I know that they’ll never consider it./This might be the one year I won/’Cause I know how they like to position it.”

With Drake’s album intentionally out of contention, most believe the Hip Hop category will be a battle between Don Toliver’s Octane, J. Cole’s The Fall Off, Cardi B’s Am I The Drama, Isaiah Rashad’s It’s Been Awful, and ASAP Rocky’s Don’t Be Dumb.
