Drake is in his winning season. Fresh off releasing a trifecta of new albums, passing Michael Jackson on the Billboard List. And his new album Iceman set to spend another week atop the charts, Drake is set to add another notch to his belt.

Legendary producer Jermaine Dupri, who is set to assist with the music on the game, revealed last year that Drake could be able to upload his own music to his channel. Including tracks that have never been heard before.
The video game was initially set to release in September of this year. Then it was pushed back to May 2026. And now it is set to release this coming November. But after so many delays, fans have expressed skepticism about whether that will be pushed back as well. With the PlayStation 6 rumored to release in 2027, fans are grilling the developers even harder about the game’s release date.
But don’t expect that to have an impact on when the game is released. Rockstar CEO Strauss Zelnick says that release date delays are never something that the company regrets. Because it is a necessary evil to ensure they are putting forth the best product.
“It’s always painful when we slip a date, and we have done so occasionally in the past,” Zelnick said in a recent investors call via PC Gamer. “And we’ve never regretted it in retrospect. I would like to point out that we have some competitors that, in the event where more polish was required, and it required slipping a date, they chose not to slip the date. And they did so at their peril.”
For now, the release date of the video game is scheduled for November 19.
