A new report claims Drake has been beating the odds on Stake by a suspiciously wide margin.
According to Bloomberg Businessweek, the rapper wins big on Stake slot games created by Easygo at four times the rate of the average player. But when he plays titles from third-party developers, his win rate reportedly falls back to normal.
Stake cofounder Ed Craven previously insisted influencers like Drizzy don’t receive boosted odds, writing that the company has “no direct control” over game outcomes. However, Bloomberg says its review of 1,500 hours of livestream footage from 25 players found Drake was still twice as lucky as the next closest player. Stake has pushed back, calling the findings “categorically incorrect.”
The report drops as Stake faces multiple lawsuits. In a Virginia case filed Dec. 31, the platform is accused of operating as one of the largest illegal online casinos since at least 2022. The suit also labels Drake and several other influencers as “paid” promoters helping to mask the platform’s practices.
Drake reportedly inked a $100 million Stake deal in 2022 and regularly livestreams his betting sessions on the site.
