Drake spent months rolling out his ninth studio album, Iceman. But to the surprise of many, Drizzy dropped a trifecta of new albums on Friday (May 15).
In addition to Iceman, I dropped two additional projects, Habibti and Maid of Honour. And after dropping the triple threat of studio albums, the rap star is set to make history on the Billboard Charts.

According to a Tuesday (May 19) post from Kurrco on X, Drake is set to become the first artist in history to occupy the top three spots on the Billboard Hot 200. And the numbers are marvelling.

Many have suggested that Drake dropped Habithi and Maid of Honour, in addition to Iceman, to fulfill his contractual obligations with Universal Music Group (UMG). Which would make sense given that he is in an ongoing legal battle with the label.
Iceman is all the hype right now. However, during a recent conversation with DJ Akademiks, Drake said that he believes that eventually, Habiti and Maid of Honour will become more relevant. Which would obviously benefit him in the long run.
“We both agreed, and he’s like, ‘Yo, this is why I’m different from these guys.’ He’s like, ‘Yo, months later, while these guys are wondering why their guy can’t drop nothing. All the girls are gonna be at the party singing all the HABIBTI songs. And in June, MAID OF HONOUR is gonna be going crazy,” Akademiks said. During a recent stream, as caught by Kurrco on X.
