Drake dropped his highly anticipated studio album, Iceman, on Friday (May 15). And the rap star’s latest project was full of surprises.
Dennis Graham Addresses Drake’s Cancer Claims
One of the more shocking revelations that Drizzy made on the project was on his track Make Them Cry. He reveals that his father, Dennis Graham, is battling cancer.
“N***as want me all bent out of shape, rattled, and shaken
My dad got cancer right now, we’re battlin’ stages
Trust me when I say there are plenty of things that I’d rather be facin’,” he raps on the song.
However, that lyric appears to be a little outdated. In a recent interview with TMZ, Graham says that he was previously battling lung cancer but that he got a message that it had “disappeared,” and he is good to go.
“That was a while back. I’m okay now,” he told the outlet.
When the reporter interviewing him asked Graham how his health currently is, he said, “wonderful.”
He also said that once Iceman was released on Friday, his phone was “blowing up all night” because of Drake mentioning his past diagnosis.
And he also sent a message to all of his fans who were concerned about his health.
“Thank you, guys, for your concern. I love you all. And from the bottom of my heart, I appreciate it.”

Drake didn’t just drop one album. He dropped three. And already, his trifecta of new projects occupies the top three spots on the Apple Music charts. He could be in line for a historic run.
