Radio host Ebro Darden is offering an olive branch to Offset after his recent comments.
Earlier this week, the former Migos star got into it with Bronx rap artist Lil Tjay outside of a Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Tjay allegedly directed his crew to attack Offset. Presumably over an unpaid debt of $10,000 that Tjay has referenced before.
Ebro Apologizes to Offset For Recent Comments
In response, Ebro revealed that Offset also owes him $5,000 over an unpaid 2025 Super Bowl bet. But Ebro’s comments had a domino effect. Other celebs like former Dallas Cowboys star Dez Bryant also revealed that Offset finessed him out of an $8,000 bet. But Ebro apologized and said it was never his intention to make Offset a target. Especially because he was already in a low moment.
“I didn’t realize that all these people were gonna start claiming that Offset owes them money,” he explained as caught by TheChat101 on X. “Offset and I made a goofy bet at the Super Bowl. […] When I heard the story yesterday, it didn’t seem that egregious. Now, when I’m hearing the details and the details started coming out yesterday, I didn’t realize Offset and Lil Tjay really had a problem.”

In Ebro’s defense, it did not seem like he had any malicious intentions when telling the story. The way he explains it, he didn’t even chase down Offset over the unpaid debt. In fact, he said they have talked “a thousand times,: since then. And frankly said that it “wasn’t a big deal” to him that he was never paid.
At the time of writing, Offset has not responded to Ebro’s comments nor to his apology.
