The last 24 hours have been a downhill spiral for rap artist Offset. And all because of a recent visit to a Hollywood, Florida, casino.
On Monday (April 6), the former Migos star was shot outside the Hollywood Hard Rock Hotel. Over an alleged debt dispute with Bronx rap star Lil Tjay. Radio host Ebro Darden addressed the controversy during the Tuesday (April 7) episode of his Ebro, Laura, Rosenberg Show.
Ebro Claims Offset Owes Him Thousands Over Unpaid Debt
Ebro also reveals that Offset owes him a debt. To the tune of $5,000. Over a loss Super Bowl Bet when the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2025 Super Bowl.
“He owes me $5,000. He does,” Ebro said in a clip caught by TheChat101 on X. “Offset’s fine. I tried to call him last night. We bet on the Super Bowl in New Orleans. I bet $5,000. I was prepared to pay him $5,000.”
Ebro goes on to say that he hasn’t really confronted the former Migos star about the unpaid debt because it is “not a big deal” to him.
“I’ve talked to him a thousand times since then and never jammed him up about $5,000 because clearly, he’s somebody who didn’t pay his bet,” he continued. “Like, why am I gonna chase you around about five grand? It’s not a big deal to me.”

Lil Tjay was also arrested outside of the Hollywood Hard Rock Hotel on Monday. And shortly after, a video surfaced of Tjay and Offset getting into a physical altercation outside of the venue. This seemed to be over an unpaid debt. Last year, TJ revealed that Offset still owes him $10,000 that he loaned him.
With Offset being shot outside of the casino shortly after the fisticuffs, many people believed the two incidents to be related. However, Tjay has denied his involvement and has not been brought up on any shooting charges. He was, however, arrested for disorderly conduct and a traffic violation. And was given a total bond of $3000.
