Radio host Ebro Darden did not hold back on Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, fans during a recent taping of Ebro, Laura, and Rosenberg.

Earlier this month, Kanye performed two sold-out concerts at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. And brought out a plethora of stars, including Erykah Badu, Chloe Bailey, Deon Cole, and a host of others. Leading many people to believe that he couldn’t be canceled. However, after his upcoming performance in the United Kingdom was nixed by the government, Ebro says that cancel culture is still very much alive.

Ebro Clowns Kanye Fans Over Wireless Festival Cancellation

“To all the people out there that, two days ago, were like, ‘I guess you can’t get canceled.’ I guess you can get canceled,” he remarked as caught by TheChat101 on X.

Ebro gave those fans a reality check. That even though there are some people who are willing to let bygones be bygones with Ye, there are still some people who will never forget what he said.

“There will never be a time when everyone’s ready, there will never be a time when everybody’s all good. Some people will never forgive him,” he added.

However, fans were not willing to come off that hill.

“Ebro so f*****g stupid bro. Kanye just did an 80k sold-out stadium, and he thinks Kanye is cancelled?? F****n idiot,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“That’s not being cancelled, though that’s the government interfering in matters they shouldn’t be,” another user added.

“It’s funny because Hip Hop is backing Ye, but for some reason Ebro isn’t,” a third person chimed in.

Ye was set to headline Wireless Festival in the United Kingdom this July. However, the decision was met with a lot of backlash. With the U.K. having such a large population of Jewish people, combined with the West’s past antisemitic remarks, the U.K. Government was forced to block West from entering the country. As opposed to just replacing Ye as the headline, Wireless Festival opted to cancel the show altogether.
