There are two ways to look at a recent video of Ebro Darden that recently surfaced online. He could be giving fans an inside look at his new full-time office. Or he is being extremely petty.
Ebro Under Fire For Recent Social Media Post
Ebro currently serves as the Global Editorial Head of Hip-Hop & R&B for Apple Music. He leads their editorial strategy, manages editors, and scouts new talent in his role. He also hosts The Ebro Show on Apple Music 1 (formerly Beats 1) to spotlight artists. He has served in the role since 2015.
On Monday (January 12), Ebro decided to give fans an inside look at his space inside the Apple Music office. However, some fans pointed out the timing of his post. As it was on the same day that his former employer, Hot 97, announced their new host.

Fans in the comments section of the post went scorched earth on the former Hot 97 host.
“I like EBRO, But He’s Just Coming Off As A Jealous OLD UNC,” one fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Don’t leave him out, every old n***a from New York corny af,” a second user said.
“He doesn’t know that Apple’s gonna realize he’s replaceable too, like radio did, so idk why he’s flexing this,” a third user chimed in.
However, it did not stop Hot 97 from making its highly anticipated announcement. As they revealed 7 PM in Brooklyn, co-host, The Kid Mero, as the radio station’s new headliner.
But despite all the noise surrounding Ebro being in his feelings, he actually shouted out his replacement.
“Shout out to [The Kid Mero]. This is so great,” Ebro wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday.
Mero began his stint as Hot 97’s morning show host on Tuesday (January 13).
