After an eight-week trial filled with explosive testimony and headline-making accusations, Sean “Diddy” Combs was officially cleared of the most serious charges in his federal sex crimes case — but it’s not all good news for the music mogul.
The 12-member jury found Diddy not guilty on multiple major counts, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking – and the newly released verdict sheet shows prosecutors lost by almost a clean sweep.
The sheet, obtained by TMZ, shows jurors rejected every option under the racketeering charge, checking only the “Not Guilty” box.
The prosecution took a major L here — especially on the two most talked-about charges involving alleged sex trafficking of ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura and another woman referred to as “Jane.” Both of those counts ended in full acquittals.
But while Diddy dodged the biggest bullets, he’s not in the clear just yet.
The jury did convict him on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution — a serious offense under federal law. Each count carries a possible sentence of up to 10 years behind bars. So yes, prison time is still very much on the table.
Sentencing will be scheduled soon, and the final outcome will depend on the judge’s decision and input from both legal teams.
So while Diddy may have avoided the full weight of a racketeering or sex trafficking conviction, the saga is far from over.
