The music world is still processing the explosive not-guilty verdict in the case of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. The trial jury needed less than three days to deliberate. Which was surprising given that they had heard nearly two months of testimonies. All by witnesses called by the prosecution.
Fans Awkardly Celebrate Diddy’s Acquittal With Baby Oil Fight
Diddy was found not guilty of racketeering, trafficking of Cassie, and the trafficking of Jane Doe. He was found guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution related to Cassie and was found guilty of the same such charges related to Jane Doe.
After the explosive verdict was revealed fans of the music mogul celebrated outside of the courthouse. And they did so by drenching each other with absorbent amounts of baby oil.

The reactions to the celebration on social media were almost as explosive as the verdict.
“This s**t is literally a Boondocks episode lol,” one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Bruh threw the Baby Oil out the bottle like Kobe for the Lakers,” another user added.
“celebrity worshipping is a mental illness ppl don’t know they are having smh,” another disappointed user added.
What is the significance of the baby oil you ask? For those tardy to the party, the bottles of baby oil and Astroglide became staples in the case. During the raid of Diddy’s home in March 2024, an investigative report stated that over 1,000 bottles of baby oil were found in the music mogul’s Miami home.
It was suggested that the baby oil and Astroglide were being used as lubricant during his alleged “freak offs,” which was another term used to describe the events where Diddy would pay male escorts to have sex with his companions while he watched and gave instructions.
Although he was acquitted of the RICO charges, he still has a steep hill to climb in relation to the prostitution charges. He is expected to receive his sentence soon.
