J. Cole is officially back in album mode as he is preparing to drop his sixth studio album, The Fall Off. The album is not slated to drop until next month. However, some fans believe that they could be receiving some new music from the North Carolina native. Even prior to the release date.

Fans Speculate J.Cole Will Drop New Music For His Birthday

On Tuesday (January 27), some users noticed that four unreleased freestyles had been uploaded to Cole’s track on certain social media platforms. The Freestyles are named Seti Freestyle, Winter Storm Freestyle, Golden Goose Freestyle, and Bronx Zoo Freestyle, which were visible to some users before quickly being taken down.

While some fans thought that it could have just been a glitch, others speculated that the freestyle had mistakenly been uploaded early. And that they are real tracks from the rap star that will drop in celebration of his 41st birthday on Wednesday (January 28).

“I need this to be true,” a second user chimed in.

During a recent episode of the Joe & Jada podcast, Jadakiss revealed that Cole is scheduled to release a mixtape. In addition to The Fall Off, which is scheduled to drop in February. Kiss also said that Cole is rapping over some iconic beats, including the Lox’s Money, Power, Respect.

“He’s got a project coming out called ‘The Fall-Off’, and he’s got a mixtape where he used some of The Lox. He rhymed over ‘Money, Power Respect,’ and he rhymed over ‘Can I Live.’ Killed them sh*ts. Cole is coming back in a major way,” Kiss said during a recent episode of the podcast.

It will be interesting to see what Cole has up his sleeve.
