Quote tweeting a post that asked what the best Prince song is, x user Bama Bama Bigelow revealed that Prince appeared uncredited on the track “Thou Shall Not Kill” with Mobb Deep, Snoop Dogg and Tray Dee.
When asked by users, Bigelow provided receipts.
“Not even trolling, Prince was randomly in the same studio Mobb Deep was in and went to their session and played the keys for the song. He was there for a short time and dipped and wanted no credit for it.”
Then he posted a clip of the song where the backstory was in the description.
After Prince’s death, Mobb Deep rapper/producer, Havoc said, “Prince happened to be in Electric Lady Studios in New York City at the same time.” Havoc asked Prince for his opinion on a music track (which became Thou Shall Not Kill), “he just started jamming on a keyboard. Naturally, he walked out without even saying bye after he finished.” Havoc kept Prince’s contribution but didn’t tell anyone about it.
Further corroboration finds that Havoc told this story to Drink Champs.
The song went unreleased until 2007, where it leaked to the public.
