The Brooklyn, N.Y. rapper is accused of pointing his gun at a woman who asked for help jumpstarting her car on New Year’s Eve. According to the Edgewater police report, Fivio waved his gun at the woman and shouted: “If I see you parked in front of this building again there is going to be a fucking problem.”
Witnesses reportedly called 911, and local police say the apartment’s surveillance cameras corroborate their statements.
Fivio Foreign was eventually arrested on Jan. 18 and hit with charges including unlawful possession of a weapon, terroristic threats, and aggravated assault.
His attorney, Adam Lustberg, called the case “flimsy” and expects the rapper to be home in the next couple of months. He claims the gun used in the alleged crime was never recovered.
Fivio’s History with Police Has Been Strained
This is not Fivio’s first run-in with the New Jersey police. In April of 2021, he was arrested in Fort Lee after being caught with a loaded gun on his person. He attempted to escape police custody but was eventually caught charged with eluding officer as well as possession of a defaced firearm.
