A beef appears to be brewing between rappers from up North and Down South. On Friday (January 30), Brooklyn-born rapper Fivio Foreign dropped a new song called “Rat Trap.” One that aims at Atlanta rappers, particularly 21 Savage.
Fivio Foreign Clowns 21 Savage & Atlanta in Explosive Diss
Fivio previewed the song in a viral clip earlier this week. And on Friday, he released the full version of the explosive new diss track.
“I said what I said, n**a that’s that (Huh)
You said what you said, now you can’t backtrack
Look, it’s me against that whole f****n’ rat pack
I set him up to promote my song, that was a rat trap (Yeah),” he raps on the first verse.
Elsewhere in the song, he says:
“The only thing the A ever made was cap.”
Fans in the comments section of the post appeared to be vibing with Fivio’s new song.
“I think people forgot that Fivio Foreign always had crazy bars. Totally fire,” one user wrote in the comments section of the YouTube video.
“The same people that said you were trash and just want attention when you dropped the snippet are now in da comments sayin dis fire,” a second user added.
“This man can really pour his heart out easily,” a third user chimed in.
You can listen to the full song below and judge for yourself:
How did Fivio start beefing with Atlanta? It all started because of 21 Savage’s ‘f**k the streets’ movement. A campaign that encouraged rappers to stop glorifying street culture in their music.
However, during a recent sit-down with DJ Akademiks, Fivio questioned whether the rap star had the merit to start such a movement. That led to the two rappers exchanging words on social media.
Fivi has fired the first shot in the booth. It’s time for 21 Savage to respond.
