Flo Milli melted the hearts of her followers last Friday (April 25) after revealing she had given birth to her first child.

The Alabama rapper shared an adorable pic on Instagram while cradling her baby boy in her arms. “Y’all bett not play bout y’all internet nephew,” she jokingly and affectionately wrote in the caption.

Love poured in from all corners of the culture, with major names like Latto, Halle Bailey, GloRilla, Coi Leray, SZA, and more flooding the comments to show support.

But the honeymoon phase didn’t last long.

Less than two weeks later, Flo was spotted back onstage at the RiverBeat Music Festival in Memphis (May 3), and social media had something to say about it. Critics questioned why she was performing so soon after giving birth — some even coming for her personal life.

“Flo Milli’s n—a don’t got a job? Why is she already performing? Where is her family and friends?” one X user wrote.

Flo didn’t hesitate to clap back. “go choke on a d—k and die before you speak on me, my child’s father or my family,” she fired off in response.

She also alluded to the fact that her child wasn’t born the same day she made the announcement. “It’s y’all really thinking I had my baby 9 days ago,” she tweeted, following it up with, “God forbid a girl just wanna feel like herself again and perform.”
