Former 50 Cent associate Bang Em Smurf recently sat down with Capone News. And made some interesting remarks about the Power creator.

Bang Em Smurf Says 50 Was Jealous of Ja Rule

In a clip shared by TheChat101 on X, Smurf starts by questioning the rapper’s gangsta persona. And insists that just because he is an ex-drug dealer, it doesn’t make him a “gangsta.”

“50 Cent is really no gangsta when you think about it. Because he doesn’t do any gangsta s**t,” he said. “He is just a bully. He calls them soft, but what did 50 do to make him tough? Sell drugs? The whole Queens sell drugs.”

He also calls 50 a “big capper” and insists that he was only shot five times. Despite his claiming he took nine bullets throughout his career.

In his 2003 track Many Men, 50 Cent accuses his former manager, Chaz “Slim” Williams, of switching sides by associating with Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff, whom 50 Cent accused of ordering the 2000 shooting against him. He raps: “Slim switched sides on me, let niggas ride on me.

I thought we were cool. Why do you want me to die, homie?”

But Smurf insists that there was nothing Slim could have done to prevent the shooting. He also says that 50 was the main reason the feud escalated. According to Smurf, on several occasions, Slim scheduled meetings for 50 and Supreme to settle their differences. But 50 always declined the invite.

He also says that the two OGs wanted to see all of the hustlers from Queens get money. But it was 50 Cent’s me against the World attitude after he got shot that left the borough divided. And that his jealousy towards Ja was a factor in the ongoing feud.

“He found that Ja shouldn’t be in the position. Why? There’s enough money for everybody,” he added. “But he was jealous. Looking back on the situation, yeah, the n***a was a jealous a** n***a. That’s why I said I feel sorry for Ja. Because the type of s**t we were doing to them n****s … salute I respect ya’ll.”

At the time of writing, 50 Cent has not responded to the comments made by Bang ‘Em Smurf.
