Rap artist Latto revealed that she is expecting her first child. On Friday (March 20), she revealed her pregnancy through a social media account while simultaneously kicking off the rollout for her new album, Big Mama.
Le’Veon Bell in Hot Water Over Comments About Latto
Many people reacted to the announcement by serenading the rap artist with congratulatory messages. But former NFL star Le’Veon Bell took a completely different approach.
Bell called out Latto over the announcement and painted her as a bad role model.
“Latto just announced she’s pregnant by a married man with 3 kids, and made it part of her ALBUM ROLL OUT .. and that’s who today’s women look up to? ” We’re doomed,” the former New York Jets running back wrote on social media on Friday morning.
After his post went viral, fans on social media went after the former NFL star with a vengeance.
“N***a went from being one of the best RB’s a couple years ago to now gossiping about this bs,” one fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Holmes on here gossiping like a woman,” a second user chimed in.
“Savage has been with Latto since like 2023. Why are you just now feeling some way about it?” a third user asked.
Latto appeared to soft-launch her long-rumored relationship with Atlanta rapper 21 Savage through her pregnancy reveal.
In the video for her new single, Business Latto sports a new back tattoo, which features a dagger. 21 Savage’s signature logo is a dagger because of the dagger tattoo that he has on his head. The visuals also feature a close-up view of the baby book that Latto is holding. And it features baby photos of what appears to be her at 21.
Latto’s new album, Big Mama, will be available everywhere on May 29th.
