Freddie Gibbs is not new to the GTA universe. The Gary, Indiana rapper contributed music to GTA 5 and it’s expansion, GTA Online. But a new interview reveals the Alfredo rapper may get more to do in the next game.
Is Freddie Gibbs In GTA 6?
During an interview with Midas from PC Gamer, industry insider and talent HipHopGamer teased Gibbs inclusion with a major hint.
“There’s a special side mission with a major rapper that left CM Punk bloody by accident,” HipHopGamer said.
HipHopGamer went on to say that the game “would produce millionaires” off a focus in user generated content, and it’s worth the wait. He also asserts that he’s seen the game since he got to party with Rockstar, the developer of the GTA series.
His hint likely refers to when Gibbs accidentally injured WWE superstar CM Punk on the set of their 2025 vampire horror film Night Patrol. Gibbs recalled the incident in detail.
“I thought CM Punk was mad at me for real, for an hour,” Gibbs said. “I was walking around that m********* for a while like, ‘this might be a real fight in this m********* with a wrestler. I’m not going to win this shit. “When we did the scene when I had to shoot him when he was trying to get in the apartment, I had the gun, and I swung that shit up, and it cut his hand for real.”
Gibbs hasn’t confirmed or denied the rumor, but it would make logical sense to have a veteran of the soundtrack and a rapper who’s dabbled in crime boss raps get a chance for a memorable cameo.
He also recently posted a story posing at a table with three men, presumably affiliated with Rockstar Games, tagging the company.

What Else Has Gibbs Been Up To?
The Pinata rapper is currently overseas finishing his international leg of his The Last Rabbit tour. He’ll return to the states in mid-April to embark on the US leg of the tour.
The tour recently made headlines when fans discovered a VIP option that would include a karate masterclass experience. The package features a 45-minute pre show Dojo training session, karate gi, belt, preferred seating and a signed vinyl copy of Alfredo 2.
