Fredo Bang and Baton Rouge collective TBG are mourning the loss of their CEO Cleezy5 who was shot and killed last outside a gym.
Authorities say the 24-year-old was found in Baton Rouge around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday (April 31) following reports of gunfire. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
In a statement, Fredo Bang described him as “one of the most genuine people you’ll ever meet,” adding that he supported “countless people around Baton Rouge,” from artists to local community members.
Cleezy5 played a key B-T-S role in shaping the rise of TBG, one of Louisiana’s most visible rap collectives, with Fredo Bang emerging as its most recognizable face alongside figures like Gee Money. The group’s history has also been marked by a well-documented and violent rivalry involving NBA YoungBoy’s circle.
While speculation has circulated online tying the shooting to that ongoing feud, officials say there is currently no evidence connecting Cleezy5’s death to it.
