G Herbo and famed hip-hop blogger DJ Vlad having a full-fledged beef was not on most people’s 2025 Bingo Cards. But here we are.
On Tuesday (October 21), the Went Legit artist went off on DJ Vlad for his recent remarks about him. He claimed responsibility for G Herbo’s current success. And Swervo wasn’t about to let Vlad disrespect him. So he went off on him on social media.

“Vlad, you didn’t do sh*t 4 me! Like nothing @ all!”G Herbo said as caught by DJ Akademiks. “You think the interviews that we did in the past are what blew me up? YOU GOTTA BE SH****NG ME!!! You called me every time, not the other way around!! I obviously had some kind of motion, I didn’t even know who the f*ck you was when I first did an interview, I promise!”
The entire debacle started after DJ Vlad called out G Herbo for switching up after he got famous. Claiming that while he was on his come-up, he would often do interviews with the hip-hop personality. But now that he has become mainstream, Vlad can’t even get a response to his interview requests.
However, G Herbo notes that at that point in his career, he wasn’t “in the loop,” like that. He was just doing what his team instructed him to do.
“I wasn’t even in the loop back then!” G Herbo continued. “Just showed up wherever my team told me to & I’ll do another podcast & get 2 views! I do what I wanna do! That’s the exact reason why I’m not pulling up on yo goofy a**! Cuz you care about views, that’s why you do and ask the s**t you ask! I’m not f******g with it! I don’t like what you represent, & you got no principle! You don’t give a f**k about me or anybody you interview, you get a n***a killed and sent to jail, and be on to the next victim you take advantage of for clicks and views! F**k you, Buddy!”
