When Starz announced that Season 3 of Power Book: Force would be the conclusion of the series, fans expected fireworks in the season finale. However, one of the biggest surprises was a cameo from Chicago Rap star G Herbo.

G Herbo Makes Cameo on ‘Power Book: Force’ Finale

The cameo made perfect sense. As the show takes place in the rap star’s hometown. Herbo appeared on the scene in the first half of the program with Jenard (Kris D. Lofton) and the rest of his CBI crew. G Herbo stands in awe as he watches Jenard take the life of a disloyal crew member.

Check out his cameo below:

G Herbo’s son Yosohn also appeared to be excited about his father’s cameo. A clip began to make its rounds on social media of Yosohn beaming with excitement about his father’s on-screen appearance.

As a rapper turned producer, 50 Cent has employed many current artists in the Power Universe. Jeremih was a recurring character on Force. Method Man was a dirty lawyer in Power Book II: Ghost. And even Kendrick Lamar had a cameo on the original Power.

That wasn’t the only surprise that fans got at midnight on Friday. One of the original power characters also resurfaced. Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr) reemerged on the Power screen.

In the final scene of the episode, Tariq convinces his uncle Tommy (Joseph Sikora) to return home to New York City. Leaving the door open for another spinoff focused on two of the show’s original characters.

While a spinoff with Tariq has not officially been greenlit, Sikora says that he would love to continue playing the character.

“Like I always say, as long as Gary Lennon is writing Tommy, I’d love to keep playing him,” he said in a statement to PEOPLE.

You can watch the series finale of Power Book: Force now, exclusively on the STARZ app.
