Nowadays, Tony Yayo is more known for his podcast with fellow veteran rapper Uncle Murda. But at one point, he was a prolific rapper with the 50 Cent led rap crew G-Unit. Due to his podcasting though, more and more stories have come out about him, including some less than ideal, borderline embarrassing, recollections.
What’s The Story With Tony Yayo And The Dice Game?
In a new interview with Cam Capone News, rapper Domination, a frequent collaborator of G-Unit affiliate Bang Em Smurf, reflected on knowing Yayo since childhood and his reputation as a hustler, especially in dice games.
“He was rolling dice with somebody and It went left, he got smacked, and guns came out,” Domination said. “It was a wild, wild west situation.”
When asked if he considered Yayo a mentor, Domination quickly made it clear their relationship never reached that point.
“”Never looked up to him in my life,” Domination said. “It wasn’t much to look up to. He was just an ordinary hustler on the block.”
The rapper also discussed seeing his first murder and his recent release from jail.
What Else Is Going On With Tony Yayo?
Rick Ross threw some shots at the veteran rapper, but didn’t get much back. Yayo Tony Yayo appeared unfazed by Ross’ remarks, responding with humor while continuing the long-running back-and-forth between the two camps.
“The volume is now like Death Row Records,” Yayo said. “To me Rick Ross jokes is getting dry. ‘Murda clean my boat, Yayo mow my lawn,’ n***** don’t care about none of that s***.”
Ross has been in a simmering beef with Yayo and Murda dating back to a few years now. However, It seems Yayo is tired of his act, especially because he says Ross said what up to him at the BET Awards with no issues.
