As the world awaits the release of Drake’s new Iceman album, some within his inner circle have already heard the new project. One of those people appears to be DJ/Producer Gordo (formerly Carnage).
Gordo Sends Strong Message About Drake’s ‘Iceman’
In a post to his social media account on Tuesday (April 28), Gordo appears to confirm that he has heard Drake’s ninth studio album. And he claims that the project is so innovative, the rest of the world isn’t ready for it.
“What he’s about to do is completely unheard of in music… like nothing we’ve ever seen before. The world isn’t ready for this,” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Tuesday.

Of course, fans had a lot to say about Gordo’s comments on social media.
“Cmon man, is it not a music album? Expectations are violently out of control,” one user said in response to the post.
“I hope Drake stomp these n***as out, the way they’ve been dragging his name!!!” a second user chimed in.
“I trust your judgment on music, Gordo, but pls don’t be saying this if he’s got Sexy Redd and Yeat on that damn album,” a third user remarked.
Drake has already built anticipation for his forthcoming project with a top-tier rollout. The Six God put a huge Ice Sculpture in the middle of his hometown of Toronto and hid the release date inside. Fans were going crazy trying to locate the release date with ice pick and torches to find the release date. One lucky streamer, Kiska, found a mystery bag that contained the release date hidden inside one of the blocks of the sculpture.
Drake’s new project is set to drop on May 15.
