Rockstar Games is preparing to release Grand Theft Auto 6. And it is expected to be one of the biggest video game releases of the year.
Grand Theft Auto 6 Gets Key Updates Ahead of Pre-Order Drop
Although the game is not scheduled to release until November 19, pre-orders will officially open on Thursday (June 25) at midnight. And there are already some key updates ahead of the pre-order drop.
There will be two editions of the video game. The standard edition and the ultimate edition. The standard edition will be $79.00, and the ultimate edition will be $99.00.
The Ultimate edition will enhance the player experience. Including an exclusive collection of luxury vehicles, apparel, and weapons.
Users who pre-order the digital version of the game will be able to start pre-loading on their consoles starting on November 12. In an effort to make sure that all users will be able to play the game on the official release date of November 19.

The video game was initially set to release in September 2025. Then it was pushed back to May 2026. This led to backlash from anxious users.
However, despite the backlash, Rockstar CEO Strauss Zelnick says that release date delays are never something that the company regrets. Because it is a necessary evil to ensure they are putting forth the best product.
“It’s always painful when we slip a date, and we have done so occasionally in the past,” Zelnick said in a recent investors call via PC Gamer. “And we’ve never regretted it in retrospect. “I would like to point out that we have some competitors that, in the event where more polish was required, and it required slipping a date, they chose not to slip the date. And they did so at their peril.”
