With the NBA trade deadline less than a month away, it appears that some big names could be on the move. One of the stars that could be dealt is the Memphis Grizzlies star, Ja Morant.
Grizzlies Mulling Ja Morant Trade Ahead of Deadline
On Friday (January 9), ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania revealed that the organization could be looking to “entertain” offers. That would move their franchise cornerstone ahead of the February 5 deadline.
Charania also noted “multiple teams” are pursuing Morant in trade talks.
In a potential deal, the franchise would “prioritize draft picks and young players in return.”

The news comes at an interesting time. Despite having a record of 17-21, the Grizzlies still hold a comfortable 2.5 game lead over the Dallas Mavericks.
