Will Gunna Address YSL Beef in Documentary?
One thing that many fans are expecting to be addressed in the documentary is Gunna’s role in the YSL RICO Trial. Gunna was swept up in the initial indictment. However, he entered an Alford Plea to regain his freedom.
However, Gunna has been the subject of a lot of criticism from the hip-hop industry regarding his plea. With many people labeling Gunna a “rat” or “snitch” for entering such a plea. Even though his plea was never used as evidence in the YSL trial.
Still, Young Thug believes that Gunna’s testimony was “harmful” to his case.
“Was Gunna takin’ that plea harmful to me? Yes, 100%,” Thug said in a recent interview with Big Bank. “First we tellin’ the jurors ‘YSL ain’t a gang.’ Now [after the plea deals] we goin’ back to the jurors sayin’, ‘Well, some people might say it’s a gang — but we ain’t a part of that part of it. We are part of the record label.”
It will be interesting to see if Gunna addresses those criticisms in the upcoming documentary.
