There is no release date for the new Netflix documentary, but fans are already excited about the upcoming film.
“Documentary season… Gunna is taking us behind the scenes,” one fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“They tried to blackball the ni**a, and he ended up becoming a bigger artist than before,” a second user added.
“We finally finna hear both sides of the story,” a third user chimed in.
One of the things that fans are hoping that Gunna will address is his issues with his former boss, Young Thug.
Gunna was initially swept up in the initial YSL indictment. However, he entered an Alford plea to regain his freedom.
An Alford plea is a unique legal mechanism allowing a criminal defendant to plead guilty while simultaneously maintaining their innocence.
However, Young Thug, among many other rappers such as Lil Baby, has still accused Gunna of being a snitch.
For the most part, Gunna has remained mum to all of the critics. But with having the platform to now address them, it will be interesting to see if he goes that route or chooses to let bygones be bygones.
