Diddy Paid Hotel Employee $100K for Cassie Assault Video

Despite the video being made public last year, the incident occurred eight years before its release. It left many wondering. How such as vicious assault by one of the most prominent figures could be kept a secret for so long? However, amid Diddy’s federal trial, an employee at the Intercontinental Hotel, where the incident occurred, noted Diddy paid him for the tape.

Per ABC15, the security guard named Eddy Garcia claimed that the music star paid him $100k for the tape.

Garcia testified on June 3rd that Combs’ former assistant Kristina Khorram called the hotel security desk. She asked “if there was any possible way to get a copy of the video or see the video.”

He also testified that Khorram’s reason for requesting the tape was that Diddy was “intoxicated and didn’t remember.”

According to TMZ, Diddy’s forensic video technician, Conor McCourt, argued that the video shouldn’t be admissible in the trial. McCourt cited “significant distortion” as the reason.

“McCourt takes issue with both versions he’s seen. First claiming the CNN vid appears sped up. Because it was converted from one file type to another. In a process called “transcoding” … which he claims adds, subtracts and duplicates frames.”

Cassie in many ways is the catalyst for Diddy’s downfall. In November 2023 she filed a civil suit. Alleging that she was a victim of abuse at the hands of Diddy. After she and Combs settled, several other people came forward alleging similar abuse which triggered the feds’ investigation into him.
