Eminem released his single “Walk On Water” from his upcoming album a few days ago and today he hit the stage at the MTV European Video Music Award to open the show with his live performance of the tune.

This performance featured Skylar Grey on the chorus and piano instead of Beyonce. The performance starts off in a bar where Em takes the stage and spits his first verse to the people in the closed in venue. Em walks out of the bar and onto stage to perform the rest of the song to the energetic crowd.
That wasn’t the only Em victory of the night. As Chuck D, B-Real, & Tom Morello announce the award for Hip-Hop Artist Of The Year Eminem (who hasn’t released an album in four years) somehow one this award. Here’s footage of the event.
