Iman Shumpert Demands Teyana Go to Jail in New Lawsuit
According to InTouch, Shumpert recently filed a court order against Taylor. Alleging that she violated their court order not to speak about the case.
In a May 5 motion, Shumpert alleges that Teyana “willfully and contemptuously exposed and broadcast specific provisions. Of the final judgment decree of divorce and related provisions. Recklessly disregarding the financial circumstances, privacy, safety, and security of the parties and their minor children.”
Shumpert added that Teyana’s speaking about the case has caused him to suffer “loss of income. And damage to his personal and professional reputation.”
He also says that: “The precise amount to be more particularly stated and proven at the trial of this matter.”
Shumpert also says that Taylor is guilty of disparaging him in front of their two daughters, who live with their mother.
“For example, in the presence of the children, [Teyana] has shouted crude and inflammatory racial insults at [Iman]. So such insults and criticism of [Iman] have caused the children to unjustly suffer stress and worry, unfairly placing the children in the self-imposed position of peacemaker between their parents,” his motion reads.
The motion also says that Teyana’s bashing Iman in front of their daughters was done with “malicious intent” to damage Iman’s relationship with their children.
“Insulting [Iman] in the presence of his children was maliciously intended to damage the relationship between father and child. Denigrating and insulting [Iman] in the presence of his children is a violation of the orders of this court.”
In the motion, Iman demands that Teyana be fined $1,000. He also wants her to serve 20 days in prison. Teyana has yet to respond to Shumpert’s motion
