Isaiah Rashad has ended speculation and revealed when his new album is coming out. On Tuesday (April 7th) Rashad posted a short video to his X account, revealing some key information about the album.
When Is The Album Coming Out?
In the video, Rashad limps around a field of cattle, dodging manure as he navigates. He opens his shirt to reveal blood soaking from his chest, as a voice in the background mimics a radio DJ. As Rashad bleeds, two figures appear on screen before revealing a passed out Rashad in the field. On the screen the text reads: “It’s Been Awful 5/1/26,” before a scene of Rashad in a shipping container-like area flickers out.
The tease comes after Sunday (April 5th), when Rashad posted a picture on his Instagram Story with a TDE envelope that read “It’s Been Awful.” On Monday (April 6th) speculation continued when labelmates Doechii, Schoolboy Q and TDE president Punch posted the same sentence on their social media.
Then, a video surfaced where someone rolled posters that read “It’s Been Awful” at the corner of Union Ave and Meeker Ave in Brooklyn, New York.
