Ja Rule is stirring conversation once again — this time with a new record shared directly to Instagram.

The Murder Inc. veteran previewed a song titled “Supreme Team,” where he shouts out notorious Queens figure Kenneth McGriff. McGriff, a controversial name in New York street lore, has long been associated with the infamous Supreme Team organization and was notably linked to 50 Cent’s early career conflicts. He also had a well-documented history with Murder Inc.’s late CEO, Irv Gotti.
The reference immediately caught fans’ attention given McGriff’s past feud with 50 Cent — a rivalry deeply rooted in early 2000s Hip-Hop history. By invoking the “Supreme Team” name, Ja appears to be tapping into that era’s gritty Queens legacy.
Adding to the intrigue, Ja captioned the post: “Who do y’all hear on this with me?” — inviting speculation about a possible feature. Whether it’s a fellow New York heavyweight or a surprise collaboration, the teaser has fans debating who could jump on the record.
With one Instagram drop, Ja Rule has once again blended nostalgia, controversy, and curiosity into a moment that has the culture talking.
