This week, Fat Joe and Jadakiss teamed up with the REFORM Alliance to show some serious love to a group of fathers who deserved it most. With Father’s Day around the corner, the rap heavyweights helped create a heartfelt, culture-filled moment for men affected by the criminal justice system.

The duo hosted a special luncheon at NYC’s Sei Less, inviting 70 fathers and their families to break bread, share stories, and just feel seen. These weren’t just any guests—these were men trying to rebuild their lives and reconnect with loved ones after navigating one of the toughest systems out there.
All afternoon, Joe and Jada weren’t just figureheads—they were present. They dropped words of encouragement, posed for photos, and even vibed out to music shared by some of the attendees. The energy in the room was all about healing, unity, and uplifting one another.
Jadakiss touched on what the moment really meant, especially for those reentering society after doing time.
“Just hitting that switch to let them know that they can come back and get right, despite the hardships,” he said. “There’s some hope now when you come back to get readjusted. Hopefully change your financial situation.”
Dara Mirjahangiry, co-founder of Sei Less, echoed that sentiment, calling the event “truly special.”
“Ahead of Father’s Day, we really wanted to shine a light on these fathers who’ve been impacted by the criminal justice system,” he said in a press statement. “It was a powerful way to bond through culture, community, and cuisine.”
Jadakiss and Fat Joe provided more than a meal—it was a moment. One that reminded everyone in the room that second chances are real, and community is everything.
