If anyone is tapped into the rap industry, it is Mr. Top Five Dead or Alive, aka Jadakiss. During a recent episode of his and Fat Joe’s podcast, Joe and Jada, the Yonkers native gave J. Cole fans a huge update on what they can expect from the rap star in 2026.
Jadakiss Says That J. Cole is Set to Drop a Mixtape in 2026
According to Jada, Cole is scheduled to release a mixtape. In addition to his sixth studio album, The Fall Off, which is scheduled to drop in February. And he is rapping over some Hall of Fame beats, including the Lox’s Money, Power, Respect.
“He’s got a project coming out called ‘The Fall-Off’, and he’s got a mixtape where he used some of The Lox. He rhymed over ‘Money, Power Respect,’ and he rhymed over ‘Can I Live.’ Killed them sh*ts. Cole is coming back in a major way,” Kiss said during a recent episode of the podcast.

Jada’s revelation turned fans’ excitement up to the next level, adding even more anticipation to what is shaping up to be a huge 2026 for the North Carolina native.
“I love this for J Cole. I hope Drake gives him at least a month or two to let off some steam,” one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“I’m eager to hear the LP, but we all know he has to address all this stuff in track 1,” another user added.
“I’m so hyped for some new music, especially from the top 3 artists to do this rap s**t. Going into this with fresh ears,” a third user chimed in.
Cole began the rollout of his latest project earlier this month. When he dropped a trailer for The Fall Off, he later revealed that he will drop the album on February 6. It will be interesting to see if the mixtape drops before or after the album comes out.
