Chris Brown received a special congressional recognition during The R&B Tour’s stop at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on September 12.
U.S. Representative Jasmine Crockett joined Brown onstage and presented him with an official recognition entered into the Congressional Record, honoring his 20-year career, musical legacy and contributions to R&B. Crockett also recognized Usher for his artistry, influence and long-standing impact on music.
Texas State Representative Venton Jones also took part in the presentation as Brown and Usher were celebrated in front of the massive AT&T Stadium crowd.
The recognition added another memorable moment to The R&B Tour, which brought two of the genre’s most successful performers together for the Arlington date. AT&T Stadium officially listed Chris Brown and Usher as the headliners for the September 12 show.
