Bad Bunny also released a statement following the announcement. Sharing his excitement about his upcoming performance.
“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself,” the pop star said in a statement as heard through CBS. “It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown … this is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL.”
Of course, fans on social media had a lot to say as well.
“We’re going back to when everyone left the room during the halftime show,” one person said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Dallas Cowboys in the Super Bowl with a Bad Bunny halftime show would produce the highest US Latino viewing numbers of any event ever,” another user added.
The Super Bowl will take place in California on February 8
