Jeezy participated in the AJC Peachtree Road Race on The Fourth Of July in an effort to raise money to support the city’s youth, alongside Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms.
Jeezy run through the Atlanta heat in the high 80s to run in a 10k annual event, where he aimed to gather money for Atlanta area nonprofit organizations. This year’s recipients will be Atlanta Track Club’s Kilometer Kids, Jeezy’s Street Dreamz Foundation and the City of Atlanta, Mayor’s Youth Scholarship Program.
“This is my actual first 10K. Man, to run alongside Mayor Keisha Lance-Bottoms was definitely fun. And we was running for a great cause; for Kilometer Kids, her foundation, which is a scholarship foundation, and for my foundation which is Street Dreamz Foundation. We were trying to raise money for a good cause and it was fun. And I just happened to can run.” Jeezy says.
