Jim Jones has responded to the viral video where he gets into it with a Lowe’s manager. The Dipset rapper took to Instagram on Sunday night (April 26th) to address the situation.

What Did Jim Jones Say About The Situation?

Jones broke down what happened from his point of view on Instagram.

“I went to one of my favorite places today [Lowe’s] and I was treated less than very embarrassing,” Jones posted. “Y’all know my first thought was to crash, but I’ve learned I can’t handle every situation with that mentality. It turns me being right into a wrong due to the way I react. I was theater. Today I held my composer pretty well if u know me.”

Jones continued, indicating that he was flabbergasted that a simple price check would cause this amount of animosity.

“I was threatened to not be taking care of as a customer,” Jones posted. “I was rudely told to get out and they called the cops on me all because I knew I was right and they knew they was wrong. To hide it or scare me they tried to call the police.
Let’s just say God don’t play bout me. I ain’t perfect, but u don’t have to be perfect to be right.”

Although Jones called out Lowe’s for their discernment in picking managers, he made it clear he’ll be back at one of his “favorite places.”

“I’m still goin to shop at [Lowe’s],” Jones posted. “I hope I don’t get harassed again”

According to reports, the situation began when Jones attempted to purchase an item that he claimed was marked at a lower price. However, things switched up when a store manager allegedly refused to honor the listed price, upsetting Jones as he believed that went against store policy.

According to the video, the pricing disagreement escalated quickly. It got hot enough for the manager to refuse service outright, and even contact police.

No further details have been released about this ongoing situation.

How Did Others React To Jones’ Dispute

Several celebrities and collaborators flooded Jones’ comment section to show support for the Harlem rapper.

“Next time just let me go shopping for you,” DJ Drewski commented. “I’ll take my hat off and they will honor the mistake.”

“He still got the locks at the price they had marked,” Miss Diggs commented. “This manager gonna have some explaining to do Monday morning.”

“There he go!!!!, Maino commented while tagging Fabolous. “Yeah Jimothy!!!”

Maybe Jones will get some store credit out of this.
