There seems to be hell up in Harlem. And famed Diplomats member Jim Jones is at the epicenter of all the drama. After taking shots at Dipset head honcho Cam’ron several times over the past few months, it appears that Capo has found a new target, Mase.
Jim Jones Goes Scorched Earth on Ma$e
During a recent interview with XXL, Jones made some interesting comments about Mase’s current physique, urging the rapper to go see a doctor.
“He needs to go on a diet. He needs to get his life together. He needs to go to the doctor and get a physical. He look terrible,” Jim Jones said of Ma$e.
He also added: “Ni**a look big around the neck, waist look crazy. I’m body-shaming this n***a. He needs to go get his s**t together, get on the treadmill, do some push-ups, do something, especially if you’re playing with me. You gonna need it.”
It should be noted that Ma$e has not made any publicly disparaging marks about Jones. However, the “Been Around The World,” artist is now Cam’ron’s co-host on the It Is What It Is sports talks show. And when Cam went off on Jones during his show earlier this year, Ma$e was right by his side, sarcastically eating popcorn and having a good laugh at Jones’ expense. Jim seems to have taken exception to that.
However, Jones’ issues with Ma$e go much deeper than that. He also has a problem with Ma$e and Cam being on good terms again after Ma$e ghosted Cam once his career took off.
“I watched Ma$e shit on Cam and everybody around him. Like, all the time,” he said. “I was Cam’s man, you heard? Cam and Ma$e were so-called best friends, grew up together… I was there for everything. That’s one thing people can never say, is that I wasn’t there for every single thing.”
