Joe Budden is taking $20 Million a year salary from podcasting and expanding his empire. He’s set to partner with Law & Order creator Dick Wolf for a true crime podcast.
What Is The Podcast?
In a trailer posted to social media, Budden explains the purpose of the podcast. He contends that most true crime podcasts follow one subject interspersed with interviews after the fact.
However, Budden is looking for something more live. According to Budden, he’ll be at crime scenes as they happen, interviewing people on the scene.
It’s unclear how he plans to pull this off, but he promises it’ll be unlike any True Crime podcast ever attempted.
The trailer says we’ll get to be the judge next Tuesday (August 11th).

The Latest With Budden
Amid their feud, Mandii B called out Budden for taking so long to ask his girlfriend Monique to move in with him.
“He feels so strongly [about] this as an UNMARRIED man who just took 7 years to co-habitate with his partner. This has to be a joke,” she wrote in a recent social media post.
However, Monique was quick to hit back at Mandii B and told her to leave her out of their feud.
“I don’t speak on you nor have I seen you in years, so I’m so confused as to why you keep referring to me in any way, shape or form,” she wrote in response. “Then to talk about some shit you have no idea about. I chose to move after my twins went to college…my decision. Keep me/my name out of your drama.”
Mandii B kept replying saying it was justified to name check Monique because of past comments from Budden.
