Rap star Young Thug has become a topic of discussion over the last several days. And unfortunately, it isn’t for a good reason.
It all began last week when audio of an interrogation involving the rap star leaked on social media. And in that audio, Young Thug appears to implicate PeeWee Roscoe as the person behind Lil Wayne’s Atlanta tour bus shooting in 2015.
Since then, several clips of his phone conversations have also leaked. In those calls, he has negative things to say about several people from the Atlanta music scene, including Lil Baby, Gunna, and Gucci Mane.
Joe Budden Goes Scorched Earth on Young Thug
In the wake of all of the drama surrounding Young Thug, rapper-turned-podcaster, Joe Budden weighed in with his opinion. On the most recent episode of his self-named podcast, Budden claims that Thugger’s stock is plummeting.
“I want to talk about another word as it relates to Young Thug. Stock. And it is plummeting. Outside of Atlanta, he is putting on a masterclass in how to take a good brand and totally f**k it up,” Budden said.
Joe Budden said that Young Thug's stock has dropped, and he's giving a masterclass on how to ruin his own brand. After getting out of prison, he went after Gunna, hasn't dropped new music, is acting like a "chatty patty," and no longer has Kevin Liles' support. pic.twitter.com/gLgyl0FYVc

The podcaster also goes on to say that he was focused on dragging Gunna’s name through the mud. But as far as music is concerned, he hasn’t dropped anything that has made an impact since being released from prison last December.
“He made a bunch of phone calls to tell people how he felt about Gunna. No music that did nothing. The branding and marketing genius that he’s shown himself to be, it ain’t even been flashes of that,” Budden added.
“Every time you see him, there’s been an embarrassing look that comes with it. He looks like a f*****g mess. He could have come out, gotten to work, not been a chatty patty.”
Young Thug has not issued a response to Joe Budden’s comments.
