Joe Budden Sued Over 2024 Incident
In January 2024, the Pump it Up artist came under fire for indecent exposure. This came as a result of him being caught on a neighbor’s doorbell camera in the nude. According to TMZ, those neighbors are now slapping the former rap star with a lawsuit over the incident. They claim the lewd act was retaliation because the neighbors have complained about the unruly environment when Budden records his self-named podcast. His co-host and former video vixen, Melyssa Ford, is also named in the complaint.
“TMZ Hip Hop obtained a complaint filed by attorney Thomas Mirigliano on behalf of John and Yuliya Aksoy, who claim Budden, his podcast co-host Melyssa Ford, and the condo association have engaged in a “campaign of intimidation and retribution” after the Aksoys raised complaints about the disruption from Budden recording his highly rated podcast in the building,” TMZ writes.
The Aksoys are not the only ones looking to cash in as a result of the incident. Budden believes he could also have a lawsuit on his hands. And it involves fellow rap star, 50 Cent.
In a string of Instagram posts last month, 50 posted several AI-generated photos of Joe in the street in his underpants. A hit at Joe’s January 2024 arrest.
The Pump It Up artist said that he understands that it’s all fun and games. But if 50 lets it linger on for too long, he would consider getting his lawyers involved.
“Because that’s illegal. You can’t take all those AI pics and just start [posting them],” Joe said.
“That’s 50. I got all the respect for him in the world. But if I get tired of it, and it stops paying, then, yeah, it’s lawyer time.”
