Joyner Lucas is taking aim at DJ Vlad, accusing the media personality of attempting to sue him over a clip he shared on social media. The Massachusetts rapper addressed the controversy directly on Instagram on Friday, November 7.
In the post, Joyner shared a screenshot of an article headlined: “DJ Vlad Sues Joyner Lucas Over Social Media Clip & Failed Interview Request.” He followed it with a series of screenshots revealing DM exchanges dating back to 2018, showing VladTV repeatedly requesting an interview. According to the posts, Joyner’s team had repeatedly delayed scheduling the interview over the years.
The legal dispute reportedly centers on a clip from a VladTV interview with comedian Aries Spears that Joyner posted on X (formerly Twitter). In July, VladTV reached out to Joyner regarding settling the matter, offering to forgo legal action in exchange for an interview. Joyner responded bluntly: “Suck my d**k. Call your attorney and do whatever you have to do.”
Captioning his Instagram post, Joyner wrote:
“When you get sued becuz you ain’t wanna do a interview. SMH lame ni**a been stalking me for YEARS to go on his weak as channel and when he finally realized I won’t sit down with his bh ass because I hate everything about him, he decides he gonna try to extort me out of one instead.. SMH VladTV YOU GOTTA BE THE BIHEST OF ALL BIH NIAZ ALIVE. You wanted clout so bad so here’s your clout… he.”*
This public confrontation highlights the long-standing tension between the rapper and VladTV, with Joyner asserting that his refusal to participate in an interview is at the root of the alleged legal threats.
